Safe at home after 10 hours on train at night, few hours of waiting on the bus, then a few hours on the bus. Let me tell you that my butt hurts. I am sitting in the most comfortable sofa ever, but my butt still hurts. And getting almost no sleep at the train, I am surprised I am not more sleepy than this. So I just wanted to do a Instagram update before surrendering and going to bed. There are some really good memories in here :)

I am just throwing in another post before going out with M and some of his friends for a beer or two. Or in my case, a glass of wine. You can tell by the fact that I am updating twice today, that I haven't gotten much work done. Oh well, there is always a tomorrow~

Machester Part III

Mirrored glass building~

Finally, this is the last part of the Manchester updates :) After wandering around in awe at the John Rylands Library we decided to walk and find the Arndale shopping centre. On our way we saw a lot of interesting shop sand buildings. The Arndale shopping centre was huge! I don't think we managed to cover half of it.

After some shopping we went back to china town to eat dinner. Shirley helped me order something that was a vegetarian dish that wouldn't be too hot for me. I got a mixed vegetable dish with black bean sauce - yummy! After that we had to hurry back to the bus before it left us behind. In all it was an amazing trip~!

Lovely wood building and a weird British easter sign
Can you spot me?
I am so ib love with this building, tall but not dominant! I also think this is one of the best pictures I  have ever taken >-<
Entering Arndale!
On our way back to china town we passed these fellows, they sang to earn money to feed dogs at dog shelters.
Another lovely old wooden building~
Happy girls ^^
Another amazing building with glass exterior ~
China town <3 Bye bye Manchester~

Manchester Part II

This is continuation from the first Manchester post I did. It is now 2 weeks since I and Shirley went on this trip - time flies so fast~! I meant to upload these a lot sooner, but busy times and poor health hasn't made it easy for me. Anyways, I stopped the post at the Manchester Art Museum last time so these pictures are from us leaving there and going to the John Ryland's Library. And let me tell you, it was amazing!

Best part was it was allowed to take pictures of the interior, just not the exhibition, so I snapped a lot. I really loved how the modern entrance building and the actual library was linked together. The atmosphere inside the old library was incredible.!

But we also passed some amazing architecture on our way there, and it was such a sunny and lovely day. Enjoy~

creepy hanging sculpture at the Manchester Art Museum.
View from the 2nd floor~
Random massive lovely old door.
Loved this building, but we couldn't access it.... :/
Manchester - a collage of old & new.
The John Ryland's Library
England and their weird spring events.....
Modern glass building right beside the library.
Look at the beautiful link of old and new, this is so good!
Entering the library~
The main hall.
Stairs up to the reading section.
The old reading booths/rooms.

Today I went to Cambridge with Shirley, Ali and Candice. I can't even begin to describe how amazing today's trip was, so I really need to get the last pictures from Manchester posted so I can start sharing ones from today. So I promise, the nest and last Manchester update will come as soon as possible :)

Hope every one is having a nice Saturday, whether it is a social one or a quiet relaxing one.
